Ethiopians for Obama will be conducting a church registration drive this Sunday August 24th at Kidanemeheheret Church in Alexandria, Virginia. Virginia is home to the largest community of Ethiopian-Americans in the world; our ability to register thousands of Ethiopian-Americans in Virginia is vital to ensuring a record turnout on November 4th.
If you are in the DC metro area, please take a few hours out of your weekend on Sunday to help us register our fellow Ethiopians and help to give them a voice through their vote. We will meet up on Sunday August 24th at 10:00 AM at Starbucks and then head over to the church to start the registration drive. We will be conducting the church registration drive on a non-partisan basis, all who want to register will be able to do so irrespective of who they plan to vote for.
